Béla Czóbel (1883-1976) was a Hungarian painter.
He was a student of Béla Iványi-Grünwald in the Nagybánya free school. He was enrolled in the Académie Julian in Paris in 1903 as a pupil of Jean Paul Laurens. His style reflects the principles of the Nagybánya school. He met painters of the Fauves group in 1905 and thus incorporated strong colors in his works.
